Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan being a pace setting organization is imparting quality education to 12 Lakh plus students across the country. In a bid to empower students with modern technology as they are inspired to explore knowledge with the intervention of ICT in ever expanding fields of education/ office through e-classroom, e-office, use of tablets in classrooms. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is striving to make organization more efficient & effective to meet the future challenges. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is stepping forward with the following initiatives. Computer pupil ratio: As on date it is 1:17 with 74,860 computers in 2284 Computer Labs in 1164 Kendriya Vidyalayas. e-Classrooms Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has established a total no. of 12011 e-Classrooms across India during last five years. 5300 e-Classrooms are equipped with Apple i-Pad, Streaming Device and Multimedia Projectors and remaining e-Classrooms are equipped with Interactive Board, Interactive Pads, Multimedia Projectors, Visualizer and Desktop Computers.
